About Me

Background

I am a science educator with a laboratory background and a deep passion for teaching. After working hands-on in the laboratory field, I realized what energized me most was explaining the why behind it all.

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and an Associate Degree in Natural Sciences, graduating with highest academic distinction. I previously worked as a laboratory technician in Molecular Genetics, including COVID-19 research and testing, where precision, problem-solving, and critical thinking mattered every day.

While training others in the lab, I found myself increasingly drawn to teaching. I enjoy breaking complex topics into understandable pieces and helping students feel capable instead of intimidated.

Teaching Philosophy

My approach is patient, enthusiastic, and nonjudgmental. Sessions are collaborative and discussion-based, breaking away from pure memorization. Students don’t just absorb the material, they gain confidence in their ability to learn through real-world connections.

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”

-Albert Einstein
